Skilled Worker visa (ex. Tier 2 General visa)
Skilled Worker visa (ex. Tier 2 General visa) can be applied for if the applicant has been offered a skilled job in the UK. The UK sponsor (employer based in the UK) must be a licensed sponsor. The UK sponsor will provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS letter). The CoS letter should be used in Skilled Worker visa application.
The Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) contains all the essential information about future work:
- Date CoS assigned and an expiry date
- Applicants personal data
- Proposed work dates
- Weekly hours of work
- Main work address
- Job title
- Job type
- Summary of job description
- Gross salary and bonuses
- Employer indication of maintenance for the applicant
- Employer indication of whether the job is on the shortage occupation list
Our specialists will use the CoS letter information to fill in the application form. So, it is vital to get a standard assigned Certificate of Sponsorship from the employer to fill in the forms correctly and be provided with the correct list of documents.
